Philosophy: “Medical treatment involves a doctor and a patient. It is a partnership based in trust that requires active participation, input, and fulfillment of responsibilities by both partners. I would like for my patients to think of me as an ‘old-time’ doctor with state of the art tools, skills, and techniques. This personal, down to Earth approach to health care best fulfills my provider responsibilities as I strive to provide compassionate, competent patient care.”

Charlotte area physicians selected Dr. Caldwell as one of Charlotte Magazine’s “2007 Top Docs”.

Joshua D. Levine, M.D.

Dr. Levine received his undergraduate training at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency at University of Miami-Jackson Memorial hospital in Miami, Florida. Dr. Levine received additional training in otology and general otolaryngology at Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand. His special interests include pediatrics, otology, and sinus surgery.

Philosophy: "I think one of the most important aspects of being a doctor is communication and listening to my patients. Communication is the key to diagnosing problems and developing a treatment plan. Listening is fundamental to develop the trust needed to address your fears and concerns. I think of medicine as a partnership between myself and the patient. I want my patients to understand the disease and ask questions about the management options. With this open dialogue, we will develop a treatment plan that will hopefully keep you out of the doctor's office. I enjoy all these conversations, whether someone has a complicated, chronic condition or a crayon stuck in the ear."
